About Charity

Charity Tacbas has always had a deep passion for worship and a heart that longs to lead others into the presence of God. From an early age, music became a powerful way for her to connect with the Lord, and over the years, that calling has only grown stronger.

Throughout her journey, there have been countless moments when God has spoken clearly and tenderly, “Keep singing.” Even in seasons of uncertainty or when she has felt far from the Lord, that simple yet powerful reminder has guided Charity and gently brought her back to the call - to lift up praise, to declare God’s goodness, and to help others encounter His love through worship.

As the new Worship Pastor at the Gathering, Charity’s heart is to create an atmosphere where people can experience the freedom, joy, and healing that come from true worship. She believes that worship isn’t just about music - it’s about meeting with God, understanding His radical love for us, and allowing Him to transform lives.

When not leading worship, Charity enjoys spending time with her husband, Jeremy, and her 4 kids, River, Skylar, Myrabelle, and Tyger, preferably outdoors, camping or swimming at the local water holes. She also loves long walks in the woods, deep talks with family and friends and reading, preferably with a hot cup of tea.
